Ik Onkar TV back for season three

Ik Onkar TV, Canada’s only English-language Sikh television show, is back for its 3rd season.
The show is produced by Vancouver based non-profit Sikh arts organization Sikh Skillz.
The one-of-a-kind program was originally started by the first-ever youth committee of the Guru Nanak Sikh Gurdwara in Surrey, BC.
However when sponsorship was not renewed by the temple, the non-profit group stepped in.
Sikh Skillz was originally launched two years ago with a focus on producing modern Sikh music for youth. With the launch of Sikh Skillz Media, the organization hopes to continue its mission of using modern technology to promote a Sikh way of life.
“The community is need of more resources that help the new generation of Sikhs connect to their faith and community. We’re committed to establishing Ik Onkar TV as a platform for young Sikhs across Canada to learn about their faith and be inspired," said Joravar Singh Nijjar, Director of the organisation.
Sikh Skillz has received an outpouring of support from the community and local businesses who have stepped up to helped fund Ik Onkar TV.
