Sample a wide variety of foods, services and goods, and enjoy performances by local bands, singers, and dancers without having to cross any bridges. The opening ceremony of the second season of the Surrey Night Market takes place at 7:30pm on May 29, 2015 at the Cloverdale Exhibition Grounds (17726 - 62 Avenue, Surrey) and parking is free. The multicultural, open-air night market will operate from 6pm to 11pm every Friday, Saturday and Sunday until September 20th. The night market will have numerous rides and games for children and multiple door prizes for attendees.
This year, feel good about giving back and get free entry. Management of the Surrey Night Market will designate a couple of weekends for the food banks in the region. Anyone bringing a non-perishable food item will be allowed to get in for free, and all the donations will be given to one of the local food banks willing to partner with the Surrey Night Market by promoting this initiative in the community. They will also undertake a toy drive on a few weekends and are asking everyone to bring a new toy in return for free entry. The following patrons will also get free entry into the night market.
• Families of all Canadian Forces personnel and Veterans living in BC
• Children less than 48" in height when accompanied by their families
• Wheelchair borne persons
