MoneyGram renews contract with Robin Padilla

Moneygram announced it has renewed its exclusive agreement with Robin Padilla as its brand ambassador.
Last year, MoneyGram unveiled its collaboration with the Filipino movie personality during the launch of its “Moneygrado sa MoneyGram” campaign, which targets Filipino senders and receivers around the world.
“Robin Padilla has great credibility and charisma as well as an honest interest and admiration for the Filipino overseas workers around the world. He is relatable and aspirational and we believe that he is the best spokesperson to deliver our Moneygrado message,” said Juan Agualimpia, chief marketing officer, MoneyGram.
“We believe that the Moneygrado sa MoneyGram campaign deepens our brand’s connection with the 11 million Filipinos overseas who need to send money home on a regular basis.”
Padilla noted that he agreed to become a brand ambassador for MoneyGram because the company has provided millions of Filipino workers with an affordable, efficient and trusted way to send essential support to their loved ones.
“I am enthusiastic about this opportunity to continue representing MoneyGram. The company provides a very important service to my fellow Filipino workers around the world and I feel good about this association,” he said.
With presence in 198 countries and nearly 10,000 locations in the Philippines, MoneyGram continues to bring families closer through its affordable money transfer services.
Receivers can claim their remittances in the Philippines through trusted partner locations, including: Banco De Oro, Cebuana Lhuillier, SM, M Lhuillier, Palawan Pawnshop, Metrobank, RD Pawnshop and Kwartagram, among others.
