Born in a town of royalty and surrounded with a lot of Indian heritage, Mr. Abhay Kumar’s life has been far from it. Raised by a single parent and suffering the death of his father at the age of five, Kumar knew it would be a struggle. After completing school he finished a diploma in auto mechanics and struggled for work in his hometown. For a better future for his family he decided to move to Canada in 2005. A stranger to the country he struggled even more, but believes all that has paid off as just recently he opened his own business, B.K Mechanics. With the help of a few friends and word of mouth, he works from his home garage. In his spare time he likes to help at the local temple and listen to Bhagwant Mann’s comedy. “My life has been a hard struggle but, because of my family’s support, I am on my way to success,” says Mr. Kumar.
