Born and raised in Panchkula, a city famous for being under the shadow of Chandigarh, Mr. Nirmal Gill crossed all seas and moved to Canada in 1999. After finishing a diploma in plumbing services, he worked in Delhi for 2 years to gain experience. Mr. Gill fondly remembers his college years and misses it. His friend in Canada persuaded him to move here for a better future. After moving here he struggled to find the right job and worked as a truck driver when his family supported him to open his own business. He opened Gill's Plumbing Services in 2007 and feels it was his calling. He believes his hard work and connections have paid off as his business is doing well. In his spare time he likes to listen to Hans Raj Hans and watch Punjabi movies. “I love living in Canada but I miss the warmth of India a lot because it will always be home,” says Mr. Gill.
