Born and raised in a small town in Punjab, Mr. Ivneet Singh Bains, 20, moved to Canada in 2007 with big dreams to find better opportunities to grow. After finishing high school he received scholarships worth $40,000 from different institutions and joined the finance program at UBC. With a desire to help his community grow he opened up his business Math4me in Surrey last year. He believes that his business of tutoring elementary and high school students is growing because of his student’s hard work. He is a member of Green Timbers Heritage Society and in his spare time he likes to read Dan Brown and listen to Harbhajan Mann. “There are many opportunities available in Canada if you want to grow and flourish, you just need the desire to do so,” says Mr. Bains.
