Re: Fur flies over Gong Li, April 13, 2007

This is totally outrageous. No one should ever wear fur!
There is no excuse for it.
Fur is dead!

I wonder if Gong Li is also promoting the skinning of dog and cats for their fur (while still alive).
Does she also promote the eating of dogs and cats as well?

Re: Immigration policy, March 23, 2007

I am a Pakistani citizen and I believe a large number of my country fellows have migrated to Canada. Most of the people who migrate abroad are highly qualified academically or technically, but they work in Canada in lower positions than in their own homelands. Some officers of the government here, who used to be Class 1 government officers, work at your petrol stations, pizza huts and grocery stores, but they are still satisfied with it. Why? Because they earn at these jobs, more than what they earned on very good positions here.
One thing is clear and must be clear to you as well that those having wealth and enjoying good financial status here will never go to work in your countries. They might go for a pleasure visit but will not work at a gas station or in a grocery store. A very limited number of people having a genuinely solid financial status would immigrate for any reason other than attaining a better living.

I think Mike Moreno is right to say revolution can happen in the Philippines and can be “a big one” if there will be massive cheatings in May 14, 2007 elections. Maybe Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and her husband Miguel Arroyo should behave this time.
