The Military should know better than to do such a thing, it's an insult toward the United Nations and all the Good it stands for and is it what the people of Beautiful Thailand want. if so then a recall must be made with enough people signing a petition to get the recall, somewhere around 20% of the vote that got the presant government in place I believe is enough but it should be found out first.
The Military should be helping to make things better by helping the people and in keeping the peace, but to use tanks and force things is against the good of the people, the people need to vote after they have heard from all sides in this without the use of force or violence.

Re: Thailand Coup protests
When the leader of a country becomes very powerful and corrupt and not removable by a majority voice of the people, then something illegal must happen. Throughout the history of the World, this has been solved a variety of ways, many with bad consequences. In many of the success stories (e.g., I Claudius), the military or the imperial guard oust the previous ruler and replace him/her with a better person to run the country.
This military coup was done without damage to persons or property. They claim the laws of their land must be changed to give the people greater democratic power to prevent this kind of presidential power from occurring again. Following that, they will place a person temporarily as president, followed by free elections under the new laws. They expect this to take close to a year. If this is accomplished, this coup will be among the few beneficial coups in the history of the world.
I wish Thailand great success.

In Thailand, people are royalist before being democrat. The King also is a democrat, but he first and foremost has to preserve the Kingdom's well-being. The No. 1 threat to the Kingdom is the insurgency in the South. There, Khun Thaksin failed to put the fire out. The coup, and de facto empowerment of General Sonthi, is the first step toward initiating a peace process. The rest is secondary. Long Live The King!

The Thai military coup leader,
Please be acknowledged that almost civilized countries in the world always solve their internal problems on a civilian -way basis, that is on a democratic way only. Otherwise it will never be acceptable by the worldwide, like the toppling of the people'sconstitution by the Thai military at the present time. So please urgently release all powers to the Thai people .
