Darren: The food and their language. It sounds so powerful yet so polite at the same time.
Maria: The food (of course) and I also really enjoy the Chinese pop and entertainment culture.
WHAT DO YOU DISLIKE OR FIND PECULIAR ABOUT HER/HIS CULTURE?
Darren: Over-emphasis on respect for the male and elders.
Maria: They can be quite loud somethimes especially in public places! The one child policy in China doesn't make me too happy either.
Darren: No reaction. Indifferent would be a fitting word.
Maria: They don't have much of a reaction. I think I'm old enough now in their eyes.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FOOD OR DISH FROM HER/HIS CULTURE?
Darren: All dishes, I don't discriminate! Ok, but if i had to, I'd say kimchi all the way.
Maria: Lotus leaf wrapped sticky rice. I could live off that stuff!
WHAT WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS?
Darren: I am very easygoing and I say things before I think.
Maria: Plain, easygoing and polite.

Darren: Quirky and animated.
Maria: Timid in front of people she doesn't know, and likes to spoil people. (lucky him!)
