Reservations: Recommended House Speciality: Buffet The Scene: To eat at Shabusen, reservations is a must especially for dinner, or else you might find yourself waiting for two hours. It is no surprise since this is the best place for Japanese Yakiniku buffet. The buffet combines Japanese dishes with your choice of sizzling Korean BBQ or tasty hot pot. While waiting for your food to cook, you can still enjoy the fresh salmon sashimi, deep fried gyoza and Korean spinach salad gomae. The buffet selection is extensive so you won't get bored with the menu. Aside from the traditional BBQ selection, the Yakiniku BBQ includes spicy mutton, beef tongue, unagi and lettuce wraps, to name a few. The atmosphere can be chaotic and busy but there is a semi-private room for those who enjoy dining in peace. To liven up your dining experience, seat yourself at a boat for six. For those on a budget, the lunch buffet can truly satisfy your stomach, and your wallet. Of course, there are traditional a-la carte dishes but with california rolls, chicken karaage, yakitori and premium top loin beef for hot pot continuously pouring onto your neighbours' table, who can resist the buffet The coffee pudding dessert, topped with creamy milk sauce, is fantastic. With plenty to explore, dining at Shabusen is an eating adventure. So eat until your heart's content!
