‘Where there is a will, there is a way’

Priyanka Chopra has been taking the West by storm while balancing her work in Bollywood, and she is also been producing non-Hindi films. The latest project from her production house is the Marathi hit, Ventilator. Ask Priyanka Chopra how she is managing everything all the way from the US, and she says, “It’s very plain and simple: where there’s a will, there’s a way.”

Priyanka, who was last seen in Bajirao Mastani (2015), credits her mother, Dr Madhu Chopra, for managing things at her production house. “My mother has been an incredible force in pushing me to follow my dreams. Her role and involvement in my production house has made my life so much easier,” the actor says.

After a Marathi film and a Bhojpuri film earlier this year, Priyanka is now preparing for the release of her debut Punjabi production. “We’re looking forward to creating more movies, TV content, and entertainment for the rest of the world. Successes like Ventilator — which was received well by critics and the audience, and did well at the box office — only drive us to do more,” she says.

Priyanka will be back in India next month for a few days and she is likely to sign her next Bollywood film during her time here. Right now, she is busy shooting for the second season of her TV show, Quantico, and is also preparing for the release of her debut Hollywood film, Baywatch.
