Artist call for the Festival of South Asia

The Gerrard Street Festival celebrates its fourteenth year at the Gerrard India Bazaar. The annual showcase presents multi-disciplinary arts and artists on July 16th and 17th at Gerrard India Bazaar - from 10 am – midnight. There is free admission for all.
This year, the festival includes a literary arts discussions at the Gerrard Library that explores the Bollywood’s contribution to South Asian culture. There are also open-air Bollywood film screenings, a Rangoli competition to encourage folk arts, and of course, food and drinks.
Festival organisers are inviting artist proposals to encourage their talents:
• Visual Arts: Photographers, Film makers, Designers, Sculptors
- Literary Arts: Writers, Story tellers, Comic Artists, Motivators
• Performing Arts: Dancers, Singers, Buskers, Musicians, Decorators
