This month, the Canada India Networking Initiative (CINI) will host Canadian and Indian leaders from medicine, research, industry, and government in Surrey for their “Health and Civil Society” themed conference.
CINI 2014 will feature presentations on the latest research, health and health promotion, social policy, and technology from both countries, and provide action plans for improving the health of South Asians around the world.
Co-hosted by Fraser Health and Simon Fraser University, CINI 2014 takes place June 19 to 22, 2014 at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel in Surrey.
“CINI 2014 aims to provide a high-powered global platform for creative thinking, debate, and purposeful action to help forge deeper links with civil society,” says Dr. Arun Garg, chair of CINI 2014 and Canada India Network Society. The conference will focus on education, justice, and health by encouraging greater engagement and identifying growth opportunities to boost Canada and India’s economies.
